Gujarat Board announced 12th class

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board today declared the result of the Gujarat HSC (class 12) General Stream Examinations 2014.

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board HSC Class 12 exams 2014 began on March 13. From this board 5.08 lakh candidates had written general stream examination. Science stream examination was written by 1.17 lakh candidates. This board conducts both 10th class and 12th class examinations. 9.75 lakh candidates registered for SSC examination and remaining candidates were 12th class appeared candidates. A total of around 16 lakh candidates sat for the Gujarat Board exams this year.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) conducts the main and supplementary public examinations every year in March and October, for SSC (Class 10) and HSC (Class 12). The SSC examination is conducted in 335 centres.

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board is a government of Gujarat body, which is responsible for determining the policy-related, administrative, cognitive, and intellectual direction the state's higher educational system takes. Among the main responsibilities of the Board include academics, conducting examinations and research and development.
